Gen Z Favour TikTok over Google and Use in the Same Way

Google is a search engine. TikTok exists for amusement. That’s how it used to be, at least. However, TikTok is quickly replacing well-established internet titans as the go-to source of information for the next generation of teenagers and young adults. The elder guard is taking note of the service, which has more than a billion users and is more than simply a video-watching app for users between the ages of 10 and 25.
